ACES MENACE HARROGATE

Picture
It just keeps getting better. 4 teams traveled by coach to Harrogate to compete in the biggest disability footie tournament in the country. Two teams came away champions of their respective leagues, whilst the other two teams gave it everything they had but it just wasn't to be their day.
The genuine togetherness and team spirit of every single player of this club, truly fills me with immense pride and we all arrived home as winners arm in arm.
We had a fantastically funny day great footie by all and the smell of burgers and farts filled the Yorkshire air. Would I want it any other way? Not a chance. xxx. Cheers to all the coaches for their support.

ACES CONTINUE SUCCESS WITH A PODIUM IN BELFAST

What a truly memorable, emotional and humbling experience to have witnessed the mighty Skem Menaces on their epic Belfast tour 2019. To see our warriors go into battle and put on a supreme display of footie over two days of extreme exhausting heat and to put their bodies on the line was so gallant and heroic.
I know for sure that the lads feel that they have let themselves down and the club but to finish 3rd and get a podium result with over 100 teams competing is an absolutely stunning result.
Lads believe me when I tell you this, I have never been more proud of you all. Keep your heads held high boys as we continue to reach ever more goals of glory. You and everyone connected to this prestigious club are colossal ambassadors for disability football and long may your unbelievable success continue. Love and respect to you all. xxxx

MENACES TAKE PREMIER LEAGUE TITLE

What a way to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the amazingly talented Skem Menaces. As most will know for the last several months our Premier side has been competing in the Liverpool league. After what I can only describe as an awesome display of guts, courage and a determination of the likes I have never seen, today saw the supreme Aces become the Liverpool Premier League Champions. For months they have courageously battled against teams of Liverpool Everton and other elite squads and have firmly set out their stall as one of the top disabled teams in this Country. Emotions are overflowing still as we write this and its difficult to put into words what these SUPER HUMAN BEINGS have once again achieved.
This coming Wednesday we head to Belfast for a 4 day tour, where we will be defending our title of the GEORGE BEST COMMUNITY CUP.
Congratulations to our stars you really our SIMPLY THE BEST. xxxx

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY YOU ACE LOT

The mighty Skem Menaces are 10 years old today. What a truly memorable roller-coaster of emotions this amazing story of success has been.
From humble beginnings of 6 players, two coats for goals and one football and today we stand at 60 players and the most highly decorated disabled football team in the country. Among our many accolades, we have been honoured with a Queens Award for voluntary services which carries the status of MBE. Silver Olympians at the Special Olympics, Freedom of the Borough of West Lancs, BBC North West Unsung Hero winners. Volunteer of the year Sunday Telegraph.
The lads have won practically everything there is to win in football and some have even represented their Country in Geneva Switzerland.
There are simply too many people mention who have supported and helped towards our success but a huge shout out to our very generous community of Skelmersdale, who have taken the club to their hearts. My biggest thanks to my amazing Wife Miriam J Eaton, who quite simply without her none of this would have been possible.
PLEASE, could you send your best wishes to our incredibly talented athletes and wish them many more years of success.

WREXHAM CHAMPIONS

Me and Miriam J Eaton started this incredible club and journey back in 2009 and could never imagine that we would become one of the most decorated and successful disability football clubs in the country, eventually reaching the dizzy heights of MBE status back in 2016.
Today that incredible success continued with an amazing display of guts, determination and pride. We took two teams one played in the champions league tournament and the second in the league 2 tournament. Both teams played a total of 10 matches each and both teams were undefeated and ended up winning their leagues. The performances were simply stunning to witness and the whole day was filled with emotions of all sorts.
Who are we boys? We are the Aces
A massive thanks to Wrexham Inclusion Football Club for yet another truly fantastic tournament and a fabulous day.
