Hiya guys. I was born with Spina Bifida I'm in a wheelchair I'm Right leg amputee and riddled with Arthritis. I very seldom talk about but my own issues but today I am so proud, tearful and elated that me and Miriam J Eaton have just smashed a half Marathon as part of our training for the Greater Manchester Marathon April 2nd. I'm sure some will view this as an easy task sat in a wheelchair so I challenge anyone to come and try it next time I'm on the track.

Thanks to Miriam J Eaton Ian Eaton Alan John Dale and Andrew Hunt for coming down to the track and supporting me. The first two miles were killers and bitterly cold but then the pain wore off. Great training day today.
Wish FM radio came down today and did an interview of how the training is progressing.
I can honestly say i've never felt as proud of myself as I am today after this afternoons training session.
I'm so pleased with myself today. After not being able to train for a full week due to my hands being severely blistered I headed down to the track at Robin Park Arena who are very kindly allowing me to use their facilities for free.
